Well I did not see that coming!
What a shit show 2020 has been. Thanks to Covid 19 I am regularly exercising again. Mainly because being stuck in the house with a teenager 95% of the time is forcing me to get off my butt and get things done.
As far as drinking water, I am sure drinking much more but it isn't water. My liver will be well preserved by the end of this year. Can't say I made it to Providence Canyon yet either. There is still time. Not really day tripping around thanks to a pandemic and unrest all over the country. I am concentrating on the little things that bring me joy, it is the only thing holding my sanity together. No Kart racing, yet, shooting more film though. My shoulder is back in action- the lake has been my savior during all of this. As far as family time, not really a choice in that matter, but I will say we have had some moments. I have sure figured out who my tribe is, and possibly who I am deep down inside.
Focus has shifted to other things. The boys are spending more quality time together. Mountain Biking and video games. I have a core group of Framily to spend time with to keep from going insane from isolation. Brody ended the year with straight A's for the first time ever. Feeling pretty thankful for the Hall County School system right about now. Had I been working from home and dealing with Gwinnett County Schools I do not think I would have made it without a nervous breakdown.
Having sent and received 100's of letters and postcards over the month of April was a nice little pick me up as well.
Little silver linings.
I have a goat! I have a sassy bearded dragon named Bellatrix LeStrange. I have a dog that is now more spoiled than ever. I have fireflies and frogs and sunset views.
And then there is peanut butter whiskey. Not all bad
