Thanks to my friends at Wander North Georgia I found some new places to explore.

Glassy Mountain is one of THE greatest hikes I have done in North Georgia.

The climb to the top of the tower is pretty intense. Not gonna lie...my palms were sweating!

The 360' view from the top is totally worth it!

We stayed up here for a good long while, taking in the view and taking tons of pictures.

You can see this tower is pretty tall. It is a fairly short hike from where we parked. Roughly 1.25 miles. The hike is steep but the good news is it is all down hill going back. If you are interested in checking this place out I found this post to be very helpful in getting there and telling you where to park. Just don't be a jerk. It is open to the public but it is under surveillance. There is no graffiti or trash and lets keep it that way. This was labor day weekend and it was perfect weather and we still only saw 2 cars parked. One couple and their dog and a father/son team. Everyone very friendly and respectful. Let's keep this cool place cool for everyone please.
