One of my goals this year was to date my husband. I know it sounds weird to date your spouse. I believe it is essential for a good marriage to have those date nights. Both of our kids are away right now so we have a rare opportunity to spend some time alone together. I knew I wanted to go out on the lake and watch the sunset with my man one night before they all come back. We have parking passes that are good for most Lake Lanier parks, kayaks and a great waterproof picnic blanket I got from Costco (which I forgot this time). Makes for a pretty inexpensive date night.

We explored a new part of the lake and tried out some new toys.

Sunset is my favorite time to be out on the lake. We bought some lights so we could even stay out longer. I love for these date nights.
