It was a cold day on the mountain!

Snow Mountain at Stone Mountain has been around for a while now. I have been snow tubing in real snow and at a ski resort so I knew this was not going to be nearly the same. It is over-priced, over-crowded and under-whelming.

But...did I have fun?

Yes

Did my son have fun?

Yes!

His exact words were, this is the best day ever!

So even though we spent more time in line waiting than riding (5 times in 2 hours) and the snow area was closed for the first part of that for maintenance we still had a great time.

I mean look at all those smiles!

Bottom line...would I do it again? Nah. I think I would try the new park at Lake Lanier instead.

BUT, it is worth doing once. I think the trick would be to get in when they first open and muscle up. Carrying your tube up is 10 times faster then the people mover cluster f**k.
