Magical Nights of LightsJust in the nick of time I managed to run through Lake Lanier's Magical Nights of Lights. My original goal was to run the annual 5k but I missed the sign up. Then I learned from a local running club that you can park just outside the gates and run in for free! Free is always good. So naturally I picked the coldest possible day to do this but it was now or never. I was joined by my daughter and my friend Marie and it was a blast! We ran 4.53 miles, saw most of the lights and rode the Ferris wheel of death at the halfway point!
I think we are going to make this an annual tradition.
