On our way home from Congaree National Park, we stopped in Salley, South Carolina to tour Eudora Animal Safari Park. It was also a great opportunity to test out my new Tamron 150-600mm wildlife lens. I opted for this piece of glass over the Nikon due to the reviews and budget.
The Bison, Longhorns and Scottish Highlanders were especially friendly. One even licked our dachshund.
Nilgai (native to Pakistan and India)
Eland (one of the largest of the Antelope family)
Of the large birds...the Rhea has the better manners.
We also stretched our legs and wandered through the walk thru safari.
The baby Lemurs were the star of the show, and I could have hung out with the Kangaroos all day.
