Maine

A quick stop through New Hampshire on our way back to Maine.

We have arrived!

The lighthouse in the distance was the original first stop destination but the road was closed for construction. We opted to check out Long Sands Beach and figure out an alternate route whilst my husband flew his drone over the surfers.

Sohier Park and Nubble Lighthouse was something out of a movie!

We headed over to Short Sands beach to search for Sea Glass. After I was about to give up and headed back to the car I hit pay dirt!

I had never found sea glass before this trip.

We did a short hike at Wiggly bridge

Our last stop was Fort Foster, complete with Battery ruins from WWI.

Maine is a joy in the summer. But the soul of Maine is more apparent in the winter. -Paul Theroux
