Also known as Appekunny Falls the trail is located in East Glacier at the Poia Lake trailhead. Thought it is a relatively short hike at 1.7 miles round trip, you gain 500' in elevation in less than 1/2 mile. We did see fresh Grizzly tracks along the way. The falls are not visible until the end of the trail however we were treated to tons of wildflowers and had it not been for the wildfires, sweeping views. Once you arrive watch out for falling rocks. It was very windy the day we went and we did climb to the base where we were met with lots of loose rocks and a large thud from falling rocks above. It is absolutely stunning and one of the best accessible falls.
