Wind Cave is the first cave to be designated a National Park. There is 149.01 miles worth of explored trails inside the cave. It is one of the longest in the world.

Above ground is home to the remaining natural mixed-grass prairie in the USA.
We only were able to get one hike in other than inside the cave, so we decided to hike to the fire tower.
As you can see Wind Cave National Park has a lot to offer besides a cave. It also borders Custer State Park.
Wind Cave was not even part of the plan but it was a great surprise.
The Black Hills are marvelous.
