Art Alley, Rapid City, SDBetween 6th and 7th, and Main and Saint Joseph Streets in Rapid City, an organic community gallery began in 2003. In the beginning artists hung canvas artworks on the walls, and over time, evolved to painting directly on the walls.
Located next door is the Alex Johnson Hotel. We actually almost stayed here because I read it was haunted. We decided on staying outside of the city but we were able to take a look inside the hotel.
A very nice cleaning lady lead us up to the 8th floor and told us the most famous story about the haunted bridal suite. We even got to peak inside the suite! You can read more about the hauntings and famous guests here

I used my ghost hunting app from when I took the paranormal investigations 101 class a while back. There was a lot of activity!
There is a book at the front desk of all the guest accounts of paranormal experiences they have had during their stay. 10/10 recommend this hotel!
