Custer State Park
Custer State Park has got to be the most beautiful park I have been to as of yet. Every turn of our hike I was mesmerized. It was not an easy hike but it was by far the most gratifying hike I have ever done. Corny as it sounds I was choked up and had tears in my eyes when we climbed our way to the top in ice and snow during a freak wind storm. South Dakota was not even on my radar but thanks to a dear friend I was able to make this memorable trip during the most trying time I have been through thus far in my life.
We started off exploring a frozen lake.
From there we hit Little Devils Tower trail.
I fell in love with these birch trees. They are my all time favorite!
