Smithgall Woods
Our original quest was thwarted but we found a waterfall and a covered bridge.
We went in search of a mine that was supposed to be full of bats. We found neither. As you can see from the picture above, the trail was not maintained. We did climb through almost all of it but never did find the mines.
This was my first outing post Covid. I was not going to let another fall pass me by.
