List 3 was to list all the ways stress manifests in my body and the exercise was to practice meditation. This is something I have been doing for quite a while on my own. Meditation helps me tremendously with turning off my thoughts and being able to relax for sleep. Pro tip: if you use sleep meditations or ASMR, headphones are a must. I keep these strung over my headboard for night time meditations. This way if I fall asleep I am not awakened by earbuds or bulky headphones poking me in the head. I don't get a commission on anything I list here so my opinions are purely my own.
List 4 - Visualize a beautiful plot of land.
The exercise is to come back to this image when I feel stressed. Basically I think of a combination of Crater Lake and The Sound of Music.
I do think quarantine is getting to me. I miss having plans, or at least the option to make plans.
