The Titanic was made in Belfast. It is the number 1 tourist attraction in the UK. Which with that being said made it the last thing I wanted to do. Our friends were very interested in seeing the Titanic Experience while we were in Belfast. I had planned on skipping but decided since my son studied it this past year and became quite interested in all things Titanic that I would go and at least bring him back something from there. I find the whole history of the ship quite tragic and maddening. I was interesting the see where and how it was built but number 1? Nah... The best thing we did in Belfast was the walking troubles tour. That tour had been re-arranged due to a political parade so our Titanic tour was effected. We were pretty tired from the walking tour so maybe I would be more enthusiastic about the Titanic museum if we weren't super exhausted. I will say they have a ride and that was fun. There was also a very cool interactive floor/presentation where you felt like you were standing over the wreckage at the bottom of the ocean. Another highlight was this immersive floor by floor tour of the ship through imagery. Very much unlike any museum I have every visited.
