Cemeteries tend to be my favorite muse for infrared. All the textures just mesh well for this format.

IR is one of the few types of photography that actually work better in bright sunlight.

You really have to watch your highlights. Even if they are blown out slightly you can't recover the shot. You can convert to full black and white and try to salvage something you may love otherwise but I prefer to channel mix my reds to blue and have this aesthetic.

Reflections work very well. I tend to use an old Nikon f/2.8 28mm prime lens. Many lenses can't be used for IR because the produce an unwanted flare. Primes seem to be your best option.

I have a trip coming up and I keep going back and forth about bringing my IR camera. Space and weight are going to be tight but the subject matter should be spectacular for IR. Decisions, decisions.
