Doggy Con is a canine cosplay parade inspired by Atlanta's epic annual labor day weekend convention, Dragon Con. Dragon Con brings out the best of the best in cosplay. Naturally, the competition was stiff. I wish old Zero was chill enough for something like this.

The therapy dog volunteers from Grady Hospital really put forth the effort with their costumes and theme. The Basset Hound won best in show.

We were partial to the face-hugger from Alien.

There were just too many cute dogs and cool vendors.

Is this the best Batman or what?

E.T. was another favorite of mine.

Obviously this guy won best owner/dog combo. This really was fantastic.

Wonder Woman was a repeat favorite among the participants.

The parade was just a short strut down the sidewalk to the judges alongside Woodruff Park which is in front of the Flat Iron building in downtown Atlanta.

Fantasia was a winner with the judges.

The face hugger gets my vote for funniest for sure!

When I first saw this dog I thought it was Richard Simmons...could be Jane Fonda also.
