I have a quest to visit every vineyard in the state of Georgia. Whenever we are in the mountains I am notorious for finding a vineyard to try. Luck would have it that 12 Spies Vineyard was less than 2 miles off our route. Luck would also have it that there would be a gang of kids playing frisbee out back in the meadow so B was entertained!

This vineyard had 3 very important pros:

• A friendly sommelier full of interesting stories
• Scenic outdoor seating area
• Great wine

The bathroom sink was made out of an old piano.

Our sommelier just returned from a mission trip in Ecuador. We talked to her for quite a while about some of the amazing places and things she has done. What an inspiration. The vineyard itself has been open since 2012. It is just off 23 between Dillard and Clayton, Georgia, close to Black Rock Mountain State Park and the Dillard House. I give it 4 out of 4 wine glasses :)
