I went to a live drive thru nativity at a local church. Gosh that interested button on facebook has come in handy. I forgot I clicked on this and it showed up in my notifications. My husband even pulled over so we could wait in line for the petting zoo they had on site. We were the only people there without children. #helovesme

Not pictured was a very active alpaca, a super fluffy sheep and a camera shy goat. There were bunnies and chickens too. Seriously cute for a free quick adventure nearby. We stopped also in another small town nearby to check out their light display and ice rink but a down pour chased us away before I could talk Shane into renting some skates. It was just the kick in the pants I needed to get into the holiday spirit.

My oven has died just in time to stress me out over how I am going to get food cooked on Christmas Eve. It is rigged for now but I will be buying a new oven after Christmas. No time for that now. Santa is coming early because I have to catch a flight to the big apple on Christmas Day so I can spend my very first Christmas in NY since I was a teenager with my dad.
