Solar Walkroadside attractions
I have read this spans almost a mile but upon actually walking this it seems much shorter than that. The Solar Walk in Gainesville, Florida is a 4 billion to 1 scale model of the solar system by artist Elizabeth Indianos.
Each planet is represented by its own monument.
It is along a busy stretch of road and intersection but easily seen from a park on the opposite corner.
My most favorite roadside attractions involve art. Spanning nearly a mile, you can see the entire solar system and even a few stars on the Gainesville Solar Walk.
