I LOVE Fall!

I know, it's Cliche but it's true. I love the colors, the weather, the smells, the sights, the spooky in the air.

I seriously want to live where it is Fall weather all year long (San Fran I am talking to you!)

This is also the time of year I am the busiest. I usually have so much work (photo clients I love ya'll) that I don't get to do a fraction of all the things I love.

This year I made some changes. I scheduled a weekend fall leaf peeping/hiking/wine tasting/romantic weekend before my schedule got full.

I also scaled back and focused on the types of clients and work I truly love. I can honestly say every single thing I have on the books its going to be epic, work wise and I am over the moon to be doing so many wonderful senior portraits. Seriously, I love teenagers. I can't get enough of working with them. I think my best work comes from senior portraits.

I have SO MANY this season and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I also have a ton of festivals, fairs and spooky events I am going to work in if it kills me!

This past weekend I had a crazy Saturday. It started with the breakfast club 5k (totally did it for the best race shirt ever) with my friend Cayce and my daughter Ariana and I got to run with the running club and my friend Carrie who hooked me up with this great group of ladies.

Then my son totally rocked his show-n-sell for Cubscouts. We sold a ton of popcorn and he collected almost a whole milk jug worth of military donations in an hour and a half for just being cute ( love him! #proudmom)

But it was what I got to do after all this that truly made for the best Saturday ever.

I have blogged about my friend Lori before. If you look up fun and drama free there literally is a picture of her on wikipedia.

She talked me into going to the Korean Festival.

We watched Drums, sumo wrestling and Korean talent shows.

We learned about KPop

We saw Korean art work of all mediums

We met some interesting people and saw some great costumes but were too chicken to try them on.

We ate strange food, some good, some spicy, some gross. Our first choices got sold out by the time we circled back to eat.

I also got free booze samples. Some good, some questionable and some dangerous.

This was only half of the afternoon! We went to the Fair after... that's up next.
