My niece had a baby.

She looks like my daughter as a newborn.

Needless to say I was in love with her at the very first sight.

She is so sweet, barely cries and when she does it is the tiniest little cry.

I got to spend 3 days with this little girl. It is great that they are close enough for me to visit in just a 5 hour drive but sad that it is still far enough that I know when I see her next she will look completely different. I tried to document as much as possible so I could remember everything and compare later.

Like how she sticks out her tongue.

Her tiny little hands and feet.

I caught a couple of funny little yawns

and we did a lot of dress up...

and a little set dressing too...

And she showed off her birthday suit too!

and when daddy lays me on my side and wraps me tight and shushes me

She is most happy just being near Mommy and Daddy who are are doing great adjusting to parenthood and life with a tiny human.
