There has been so much negativity surrounding the election. I have also been dealing with a lot of issues surrounding my family. I am not going to get into any of that. Instead I want to focus on what I am thankful for.

This girl has been my rock since day one. She has made me a better person and continues to every day. I am so extremely proud of her. She is a good person, a fantastic sister and a great daughter. I honestly don't no where I went so right with her. I think she is my living guardian angel.

I am still very much in love with my husband. This past year we have grown closer. We have identified what makes us both happy and have changed for the better is so many ways. I know I am lucky to have such a great father, supportive husband and handy-as-hell man who puts up with my wide range of emotions, interests and boundless energy.

This little guy has melted my heart in ways I didn't even know could be done. He has his daddy's good looks and my firecracker personality. He has a heart of gold and a kindness the world needs more of. Always quick with a hug and a smile and an encouraging word.

#4 My framily. Friends truly are the family you choose and my God if you could put a price tag on friends I would be the richest person in the world.

#5 My health. I eat right and stay active and at my age it is paying off in spades.

#6 Zero

This dog has taught us more about unconditional love than any other furry thing on the planet. He is big on personality and a bigger P-I-T-A but I love him. He is my shadow and no one is more excited to see me every day than he is.

I know my mental health would be absolutely atrocious if I did not get to go to work everyday some where I truly enjoy being.

This year I get to spend Thanksgiving weekend with both my mom and my dad. This is something I thought was going to happen more often but sadly won't be. I am going to be thankful that I get to see so much family this weekend and soak it in as much as I can while it is happening. I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and take the time to soak it in. It isn't always going to be like this. Trust me.
