Krystal had one request for her fall portraits. She wanted somewhere with a barn.

We had planned on a certain park that I have used many times and seemed to stay under the radar from other photographers.

Well it was bound to happen. I got there and they park was crazy crowded. There was a huge party in the pavilion. Cars everywhere. Cars parked in front of the mill. The mill was open and a party was going on inside of it. It was crazy town! As luck would have it, my GPS which I did not even really need to use but I did anyway, wanted to take me down a nearby dirt road. I turned it off but not before investigating the road.

Thank God I did that. I spotted the most perfect, private, barn and property. I called Krystal and told her there was a change of plans and we would meet at the park but then to follow me to another spot.

I met the property owners and got permission to use their property. I learned there used to be a house along with the barn but it burned down. It was built in 1895 and he was born there 73 years ago. There is also a gorgeous tree that drapes over the property. I learned it was the largest tree in Georgia on record. How cool is that?!

Sometimes things just work out!
