Thanks to ticketmaster vouchers and my friend Robin, who had a ton of them, Shane and I got to see Prophets of Rage for free.

We got here just in time to catch the end of Awolnation.

My friend Karen was working security and helped us down to the pit in front of the stage!

We got to hang out with one of Shane's best friends and his wife who happens to be a friend of mine from high school. We hung out with them at his h.s. reunion 2 weeks ago and had an absolute great time and tonight was just as much fun if not more. It is always a treat to find a couple that both of you love to hang out with. I think we will be seeing a lot more of the Swanns in the near future.

DJ Lord from Public Enemy got the crowd going before Prophets of Rage hit the stage.

Prophets of Rage consists of three members of Rage Against the Machine (bassist and backing vocalist Tim Commerford, guitarist Tom Morello, and drummer Brad Wilk), with two members of Public Enemy (rapper Chuck D and DJ Lord), and rapper B-Real of Cypress Hill.

I didn't know what to expect.

They BLEW me away!

Chuck D is the friggin man!

A Beastie Boy/Public Enemy/Rage mash-up was one of my favorites from the night.

These 3 bands, merged together, could not sound more perfect.

I was a huge Cypress Hill fan back in the 90's and saw them a few times. They are just fun!

The energy and the crowd was great. The best performance by Rage I have ever seen, hands down.

I did not get video of Bulls on Parade or Killing in the Name  because we were to busy jumping and jamming. I did capture what seems to be the perfect image of how I feel about this whole presidential election and the state of our country right now.
