#optoutsideI am not a fan of crowds That is putting it mildly So obviously Black Friday is not my thing When REI announced they would not be open on Black Friday I thought that was magnificent Even better was their idea that everyone should skip shopping all together and go do something outside It didn't take much arm twisting for us to decide to go for a hike
Shane packed our walking sticks, water and snacks and we hit the trail just as the sun was rising
I am not going to lie I was the most excited out of all of us to get up early to go hike
I have heard about this trail from a few people and it was close enough and just long enough for my son to get mileage in for his Webelos achievement Indian Seats trail at Sawnee Mountain Preserve
We made it!
I believe a new tradition has been born...
