Hell's Half Acre - WyomingJust outside of Casper, Wyoming is a mini Badlands on the side of the highway heading toward Grand Teton/Yellowstone national parks. The canyon has incredible rock formations and caves. The Native Americans used the area for Buffalo hunting and would drive them into the canyon. The movie, "Starship Troopers" was also filmed here.
There was once a hotel and restaurant that has since closed however there are plans to fix the fencing and add bathrooms and reopen the area. Currently there is a chain link fence around the canyon but there is a ginormous hole in it where we were able to explore inside.
