Idaho- The Final Destination
The time we spent in Montana was dark and rainy so I am skipping ahead to the grand finally. From Montana to Lewiston, Idaho we traveled along Lolo Pass. The pass was once known as the Nez Pierce trail and is also part of the Lewis and Clark expedition. The Lochsa River runs next to the scenic byway the entire way.
We finally made it to Lewiston and safely returned the grandpuppies to their mom.
The view from The Orchards.
Our first adventure was Hell's Gate State Park, the entrance to Hell's Canyon. There we saw a giant owl hunting a skunk.
The Snake River
Of course we had to visit a winery.
After we had the weirdest but absolutely delish pizza @ Fazzari's in Washington state. The Shotsy has

After dinner we met the ladies at the FIL's house and then headed to catch the last sunset of the trip.
I look forward to seeing more of Idaho in the future and of course my grandpuppies!
