Another fun filled llama event in the books! We mostly stayed dry and had a great crowd. My daughter and her climbing crew came down for the event along with my husband, son co-worker and tons of other friends. EAV is filled with such good energy. The neighborhood never disappoints. We even managed to win the big raffle prize of a handmade Alpaca blanket from the Decatur Alpaca Cottage. So soft, beautiful and well made. It is a prized possession for sure!
Feed a llama for a buck or buy a raffle ticket for $1. Can't beat that! Pictures are free all day long. The best part is all the money goes to the Southeastern Llama Rescue. An organization I can personally attest to being amazing and doing great work.
Even babies love the llamas!
Llama's and Pajamas is a reoccurring theme for the EAV event. I did not sport any sleepwear as I had a show to catch afterwards in Woodstock.
I will get too see these lovely llamas again in a few short weeks for the Saint Patrick's Day parade. My favorite time of year.
