There is no better way to see a foreign place than when you get to stay with a friend and have them chauffeur you around and show you their country. Haley and Els were gracious and patient hosts. They even rented a gigantic van to drive us around in. There is no way I could ever drive anything that big in Europe. There were times when we were driving through the castle walls where all the sensors were going off. They relate everything in town to either "inside" or "outside" the castle walls. So many castles... but that is for another post. The last thing we saw in Dublin was the lighthouse and our first stop once leaving the Ferry was the Holyhead lighthouse.

The last full day in wales was spent exploring tide pools and watching the sunset. We really lucked out with the weather. Els says its "tits" weather year round but we really only experienced it when we climbed to the top of Snowdon Mountain, the highest point in the United Kingdom. No pictures there because it was windy, cold and raining. Not a speck of a view, but we did it.
