One of my goals for 2018 was to go on 4 road trips. I knocked that goal out of the park when I completed my 6th for the year and still have plans for one more! My friend Jen has been trying to plan a girls trip down to Cocoa Beach since she moved there a few years ago. We finally made it happen. We did all the things!

I knew this was going to be a fabulous trip when I picked up Lori and she had a 3 page printed out itinerary of roadside options for along the way. Luckily I already planned on taking our time both there and back so we could stop at as many places as we could. We even left a 1/2 day early for exploring.

First stop was the Titan I Missile. I have driven past this a million times on road trips but this was the 1st time I stopped. This is the real deal, not a replica and luckily not "live".

Next stop was the world's largest peanut. This was another roadside attraction I have seen from afar but never up close. These are just the warm ups for many more posts to come. This trip was a non stop joy ride of fun and distraction. Totally what I need to keep my mind off of Zero, though I am not going to lie, I had my sad moments, but they were few and far between.
