I feel like every school and scout troop in the metro Atlanta area should make a field trip out to see this facility. It would be a great way to humble some of these kids, along with their parents and teachers. Not everyone will get to travel to see these places in their lifetime in person. We need to show future generations how most of the world lives. The McMansions of America is NOT the norm.
First stop, Mexico!
Next stop was Haiti. The houses began with Latin America and then spread on to Africa/Middle East.
I hope you enjoyed my little world tour of homes built by Habitat for Humanity. I hope it makes you appreciate what you have and what we take for granted every day. Of all the homes I liked Mexico the best. I could live in it, and probably will end up it something not too far off from it when I retire to Costa Rica.
