We have had our new pup for a month now. We were told he is between 3-5 years old. He seems to be more on the 3 side. He has a lot of puppy and is a power chewer. We have learned not only does he love toys, but he needs them in order for our house to survive. He has not had any accidents but has chewed my daughters $200 mountain climbing shoes just before she was leaving for a climbing trip on Thanksgiving! REI is never open on Black Friday so my dear sweet wonderful husband dismantled one of my running shoes to sew the tongue into her shoe so she could still go on her trip and climb safely. He also chewed on a Kahlua bottle he knocked down accidentally, ate an entire pan of corn bread left on the stove, and turned the gas on, almost blowing the house up in doing so. I have a nice baseball sized hole in my nice new leather couch. He has made his way through all of the toys Zero left behind and then some. This being said, he only chews the bad stuff when he doesn't have proper exercise or access to toys. We think he is part cat. He is always rubbing on us like one. He wants to be a lap dog so bad. He sleeps next to me every night and greets me with kisses every morning. He sits pretty when he is waiting to be fed. He drools. He drips water everywhere. He is an outstanding watch dog. He is getting better on a leash. He is not a fan of other dogs so far. He has managed not to eat the mouse...fingers crossed. My husband calls him a giant baby. He has breathed life back into me.

We invested in a Barkbox subscription. The first one was Grinch themed and included a wearable max antler. He was a good sport with the antler. He loved all the treats and of course tore through the toys pretty fast.

We changed his name to Sirius Black since he is a misinterpreted ex-con who was wrongly imprisoned.

He is just so photogenic. Love this guy!
