The Bluffs
About 2 miles from Dad's apartment is the Kings Park Bluffs. This used to be his favorite spot to come read his paper by the water. I have not been since I took my husband here when we were dating. Me and B needed to get out for a bit and stretch our legs. We did not last long. Man why did I get the coldest week to visit New York in 50 years?!
Any trip to the sound is a good trip. Even if we froze to death.
I am very happy to not be a duck on a day like today.
We watched these kids sled down the dunes like it was snow.
It is a tiny little beach but it was a nice break.
