New Mason Mill Park Extension
After spending most of the weekend in the yard cleaning up after Irma or selling popcorn for Boy Scouts I managed to sneak away for a quick hike with some friends to check out the new path extension at Mason Mill Park.
Luckily it only received minimal storm damage from Irma. Just a few railing planks knocked off from a massive tree. The trails were being cleaned up by some volunteers with the Boy Scouts.
We started off in the neighborhood, crossed the creek and connected to the main path then headed back once we finished the new section.

The summer heat returned with a vengeance. Despite how hot is was, I am always down for exploring this park. One of my favorites in Atlanta.
