List the ways I feel lucky

#1 I really feel lucky that I did not have more damage than a fallen plum tree and some damaged crepe myrtles and butterfly bushes after hurricane Irma. Many of my friends had it much worse, some are still without power. I did get a lot of family time since school was cancelled most of the week. This little guy had to come to work eventually with me. I took him for his first rolled ice cream and he LOVED it. He hasn't stopped talking about how he wants to try to make it at home.

2. I am lucky to be surrounded by creative people. This has afforded me to be in my first film as an extra in front of the camera this past weekend as well as behind the scenes on a few occasions.

3. I had a really bad bicycle accident when I was 9 years old that should have killed me, I am lucky to be alive. I have had a million surgeries since that accident that also could have killed me...and have had experienced medical miracles. Lucky doesn't cut it.

4. My mom and dad are still alive. I feel like just writing this might jinx that. I know I am lucky to still have them in my life, though my dad is very far away and not in good health, he is only a phone call away. Recently have had some scares with my mother too. I feel like I need to put it out in the universe that I am grateful to have them around.

5. Lucky in life experiences. From seeing lots of live music, movies and events to traveling to places near and far like Hawaii, San Francisco, Costa Rica, cross country road trips and lots of hiking and camping. I feel pretty lucky to have the life that I have in general.
