Today I have been married to the love of my life for 13 years.

Fun Facts about the Farmers:

• We married on the Summer Solstice because it is the longest day of the year
• We got married on a Monday afternoon because the Solstice was more important to me than convenience
• We married in our backyard
• I did not have a professional photographer because I only wanted my best friend to shoot my wedding and she could not attend
• My best friend shot my wedding pictures on my 7 year anniversary in a sunflower field and we wore the same clothes as the day we married
• I proposed on one knee to Shane at Tree Sound Recording Studio during a live taping of the Donna Hopkins Band
• We stayed at Chateau Elan on our wedding night in the "Tech Room" at the spa, it was then I had my first bidet experience
• We spent all the money for wedding on our honeymoon and I have no regrets about that what-so-ever
• We honeymooned for 9 days in Maui, Hawaii

My favorite part of my wedding attire was a NY Yankees garter from my Maid of Honor Karen...something blue

I still feel like the lyrics to our wedding song ring true:
