Shiny Happy People 52/12

This weeks installment (a little late, sorry!) of the 52 lists project is to list the people who make me happy.

I could be obvious and list my family and closest friends, but lets be honest you expect that. Also I have been in a dark place lately and have found a couple of people that seem to distract me and pull me out of that darkness consistently, though they do not even know it. These are people I have found can bring me joy and inspiration without really trying and they may never read this or know they make an impact on me but they are a light in a dark tunnel when I need it.

1. Kaylah Doolan. I randomly found her blog, then became pen pals and I find her lifestyle and adventures both an inspiration and something I relate to, which is not always easy to find. I just get how she thinks, and knowing that there is someone else out there that is obsessed with so many of the same weird things I am interested in makes me feel both happy and relieved that I am not alone even if we are really far apart.

2. Lori "Muffinface" Burns. Though we have known each other for 30 years we have really became closer recently. I have found a friend who is even more adventurous than I am. Her spirit and light shines. She literally makes anything more fun and the fact that she is always up to pose in some silly way for a picture makes her the perfect companion!

3. Julie Lansford though most of Atlanta knows her as Julie Hunter. We met as members of APG back in 2008 and over the last few years have grown pretty close, though we don't get to hang out IRL as much as I would like. She is a beast of a photographer. The girl is a gear head, and a cheer leader for her family and friends in both work and life. She busts her ass and I love just sitting back and watching her go go go.

4. Taylor Wolfe on Instagram. When I need to laugh, I watch her instagram stories. Just a girl and her dog making fun of the blogger world.

5. Debbie Thurman. A fellow wanderer and pen pal. She is endearing and kind. Not too many people left in the world that are just truly "nice". She is my cheerleader and her letters and kind words of encouragement always come when it seems like I really need to hear them.
