Luck was not on our side. We had originally scheduled months ago for an Easter themed shoot the weekend before this. The weather wasn't looking good and then poor little D got sick. We rescheduled for the following weekend. As luck would have it, the temperature would dip down the day we rescheduled for. The next weekend is Easter so we went through with it. It was supposed to warm up to the mid 50's pretty quick. Boy were the weather people off!

It was COLD! The Sun did not come out (which usually makes me happy when shooting outside but not when it is this cold)

Deacon did not mind it one bit. Mom² were on the edge of frostbite.

How adorable is this kid? He was a firecracker and gave me a good work out but we worked him hard. Cleaning up all the confetti from the eggs he broke and he had to clean up the leaves around us too. He is a busy bee. We moved on to the playground to let him have a bit of fun before the Easter bunny arrived.

This was definitely his favorite part.
