My Favorite Rest StopIf you ever find yourself on the lonely stretch of I-16 heading to or from Savannah, GA you should plan a stop at Animal exit 98. For the steep price of $1 admission and $1 per bag of feed you may pet, feed, frolic and even pick up a turtle and other various farm animals.
A word of warning, be careful of the Emu's. I have a hilarious snapchat of my son almost losing a finger.
We arrived just after sunrise and the animals were very active. As soon as we pulled in the came running over the the fence.
It was too early to see the birds and too cold for the turtles to be meandering around the yard but any day I get to pet a goat is a good day.
