Centennial Park is illuminated with 25 decorative lanterns, handcrafted giant flowers, a three-story pagoda and a 200-foot-long Chinese dragon. All creations are constructed by artisans from China to make the Park come alive.

We went on opening night, which also happened to be the coldest night of the year so far.

I am pretty sure the cold kept most people away.

We did not watch much of the performances because we kept moving around to stay warm.

I bought the blue wire warrior for our Elf on the Shelf Sammie to deliver to my son. These things were incredibly cool.

The Festival runs through Jan. 15. I would recommend checking it out. Personally I would buy the combo ticket online to either ice skate or ride the ferris wheel in addition to the festival. It is only $4 more and makes it worth the price more so than on its own.
