What do you do when your family has to evacuate from the coast?

You have an impromptu vacation.

And what does my sister, niece and I have in common?

A love of wine, of course!

Naturally we had to visit a local winery. I mean, it's what we do.

It was my daughters first tasting. Shane got to drink most of hers since she isn't a huge fan of wine, or alcohol at all for that matter.

Sweet Acre Farms was very pretty. The wine was a little sweet for my taste but the man pouring the wine was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the ciders.

I was so hoping to play this but sadly it is out of operation. There used to be one at the local bar in New York my parents used to frequent. On an occasional Sunday afternoon I got to come inside and play this game for free. I loved that game.

Stella is taking after her mom.

All this wine tasting works up an appetite.
