I had the best time hanging out with my daughter and exploring the High in Atlanta.
Despite the long line to get inside, and the heat, the interactive exhibit, Merry Go Zoo by Jaime Hayon kept the crowd entertained.
The exterior of the High is as beautiful and the interior.
We got the see the Warhol exhibit before it closed, live clay sculpting and just had fun being silly together.
Half the fun of the day was all the fun pictures we took of ourselves and of each other.
My ghostly portrait. You can see Ariana's here
After spending most of the afternoon at the museum we headed over to Kolo in Little 5 Points to get my daith piercing. There was a small evening neighborhood art festival setting up in Findley Plaza. After getting pierced we milled around and saw my friend Chris Hamer of Urbnpop and his art, discovered a new local artist, Lemon Zesty...OMG...the cutest prints and I picked up my first ever taxidermy. A brown bat from Forged and Foraged. I can't wait to hang it up! We wrapped up the most perfect mother daughter date day over a hummus plate, vegetarian quesadilla and bloody Mary's at Corner Tavern. Talk about Sunday Funday!
