Who knew a baby squirrel would melt our hearts the way he has!
Along with being completely comfortable with jumping on us, he also springs onto unsuspecting visitors.
He is still drinking his kitty formula but has moved from 4 feedings to 2 and seems to be weening himself down to one.
Shane is still his favorite but I am gaining on him.
He has just about doubled in size. He is now quite the jumper. He started slow but in the last couple of days he has really gotten comfortable jumping not only from person to person but person to furniture to cabinet to table. He and Zero seem to be playing and chasing each other around without too much malice intent. I am just waiting for the day he jumps on the dog and rides him around. They have already had some boxing matches. Zero is learning about its sharp claws. We have all learned about them. He has a bad habit of springing onto or off of our faces. I had a nice bleeder on my nose for a few days. Both my husband and I look like we have track marks from all the scratches covering our arms. I have filed his nails, slightly. Not an easy task. The trick is to wait until he is hungry and do it while he is cracking open his nuts. Speaking of nuts...how cute is this video?
