Universal Orlando consists of 2 parks connected by the Universal Citywalk in the middle and if you have the 2-park pass you can also ride the train between the 2 parks located in the back in their respective Harry Potter worlds. When you stay on property you get access to Islands of Adventure and Hogsmeade one hour before the park opens to the public. Our original plan was to do one park on one day and the other on another day but to ride the train in both directions, one on each day. We ended up going back and forth both days multiple times between the 2 parks instead and eating at Citywalk each night. I had heard that Universal Studios was not as fun as Islands of Adventure but I have to completely disagree. Both parks are great in their own way.
Besides Hogsmeade, we spent most of our time here in Marvel Super Hero Island. Jurassic Park is pretty amazing but we loved everything about Suess landing. My two favorite things in the world is #1 Ferris Wheels and #2 Carousels. Suess Landing has the very best carousel I have ever rode.
So much detail!
Anyone who knows Brody, knows when he was little he was obsessed with Kung Fu Panda.
We didn't get to ride any water rides and somehow completely missed King Kong. The best roller coaster out of the 2 parks was the Hulk. Brody on the other hand loved Spiderman the best so we rode it twice. We bought a ton of comic books while we were here. Universal really is cool.
